Tomorrow belongs to Nobody is a short video about a female footballer who has contracted the AIDS virus - in the days when it could kill. It is based on a previous play titled: Never Walk Alone, which toured schools, colleges and universities in the south east of the UK.
Blue on Blue was first performed as a play at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2009. It is a story about war, money and corruption - set in no man's land, around a destroyed MV. There are three character, the British Intelligence Officer; the American female Lieutenant, and a Mujahideen - freedom fighter.
DANCE ON THE MOON is the new title of my play set in the hey-day of Piracy. I have developed the theme and given the piece the depth it deserves. It is a moving story of redemption wrapped in a coming of age tale.
A young boy, Tristan, is trapped in a curio shop in the Old Town of Hastings overlooking the Sea Gate, run by his ex-pirate farther. The boy longs to get away, to go to sea. What holds him is his father's iron will and the boy's love for a fisherman's daughter. There are flashbacks to his father's days under Sir Henry Morgan, the infamous Pirate/Privateer and his desperate sacking of Panama City.
The drama has 15 original songs written and composed by William Lawrence.
